About Me

My name is Rumbi, and I am currently training as a psychologist with a focus on becoming a Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist. As part of my training, I am seeking volunteers who are willing to participate in practice sessions. This opportunity will not only help me refine my skills but also provide participants with the benefits of hypnotherapy.

What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that combines principles from solution-focused brief therapy and clinical hypnotherapy. It emphasises the client’s strengths and resources rather than focusing on problems or past issues. The goal is to facilitate positive change by helping clients visualise their desired outcomes and develop strategies to achieve them.

To effectively learn and apply the techniques of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, practical experience is essential.

Working with volunteers allows me to:

Practice Techniques: Gain hands-on experience in conducting sessions, utilising various techniques such as guided imagery and relaxation methods.
Receive Feedback: Understand what works well and what may need adjustment through direct feedback from participants.
Build Confidence: Develop my confidence in delivering hypnotherapy sessions in a supportive environment.

Anxiety & Stress

Anxiety and stress are common mental health issues that can significantly impact daily life. Through hypnotherapy techniques, we aim to help participants manage their anxiety levels and develop coping strategies.

Confidence

Building self-confidence is crucial for personal development. Therapy sessions will focus on enhancing self-esteem and fostering a positive self-image through solution-focused approaches.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
